Angelina Jolie says she can prove Brad Pitt’s violence in court

New documents have been filed by lawyers for the actress. She and her children could testify against the comedian.

The two former husbands keep tearing each other apart. Angelina Jolie has just, according to our colleagues from the American magazine Us Weekly , to file new documents  with the court to demonstrate facts of domestic violence of her ex-spouse, Brad Pitt. These documents, added to the file on March 12, 2021, offer the court to hear Angelina Jolie and the couple’s children on these alleged facts. A proposal that would allow the actress and her children Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, Knox and Vivienne, 12, to testify to this effect before the family court judge who should decide the divorce.

These documents can evoke a recent act of violence or go back to an older act to try to prove it. The details of the charges were not disclosed by the press or the main parties concerned. Relatives of Brad Pitt,  contacted by the magazine , strongly contested this strategy of Camp Jolie: “For 4 and a half years, Angelina has denounced facts that have been investigated by justice and have never been proven. The children have already been used by Angelina against Brad Pitt. This leak of documents by her fourth or fifth team of lawyers is only a ploy to harm Brad “.

The couple officially separated in 2016. They have been single since 2019, but many aspects of the final divorce remain to be negotiated and decided. In recent years, however, the issue of shared custody and upbringing of children seemed to be proceeding cordially.
