Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy is coming November 11

We finally know the release date of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition . The bundle, comprising Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , will first be released digitally on November 11 for consoles and PC.

A physical version is also scheduled for December 7, Rockstar announced Friday morning in a statement.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will get a little facelift, according to Rockstar. The character and car models will be updated, a new weather system will be integrated, and several graphics and resolution improvements will be made to the remastered games.

The weapon selection “wheel” will also appear in classic titles, along with an improved mini-map that will allow players to set their destination. Radio stations will also be making a comeback.

However, the biggest improvement to the game trilogy will certainly be the modernization of the controls, which will be derived from Grand Theft Auto 5 . The Nintendo Switch version will also have its own tailored controls, including gyro aiming controls and touchscreen camera options.

For PC gamers, Rockstar also unveiled the technical requirements:

  • Minimum graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2 GB or AMD Radeon R9 280 3 GB
  • Recommended graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4 GB or AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GB
  • Minimum processor: Intel Core i5-2700K / AMD FX-6300
  • Recommended processor: Intel Core i7-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Minimum RAM memory: 8 GB
  • Recommended RAM: 16 GB
  • Required storage space: 45 GB

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will first arrive digitally on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 11. The physical editions for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Nintendo Switch will be released on December 7.

 

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be available digitally on November 11 for PC (Rockstar Games Launcher), PS5, PS4, Series X | S, Xbox One and Switch. Box versions will be released on December 7th. The tweaking of the three titles Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was carried out by the studio Grove Street Games.

Rockstar has also promised updated character and vehicle models, a new weather system, and a suite of graphics enhancements and resolution updates. The Nintendo Switch version will also have its own special control updates, including gyro aiming controls and touchscreen camera options.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition arrives digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via the Rockstar Games launcher) on November 11. Physical versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox platforms, and the Switch will arrive on December 7. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition will also arrive on Xbox Game Pass on November 11.
